Extract the compressed file

Extract the downloaded compressed file (zip file) by right-clicking on it and selecting "Extract All" from the display menu.

Step 3

Copy and paste to memory card

Copy the "firmware.bin" file from the extracted folder and paste it into the "FIRMWARE" folder on the connected memory card. Make sure to keep the file name as "firmware.bin".

Step 4

With the memory card inserted into the camera, turn on the vehicle key switch.

If your camera is connected to your PC, unplug it from the PC and connect it to the power supply in your vehicle. If you're using a memory card reader, take the memory card out of the reader and put it back into the camera. Turn on the keyswitch in your vehicle, and you should see the firmware update screen.Press 'Yes' to start the update, and wait for the update to finish.

Notes:

*Use a commercial available SD card reader to connect that camera’s SD card to the PC.
*Do not turn off the power to the camera while updating.

When the application is launched, the latest firmware is automatically downloaded to the device.

Step 2

Start the camera and connect to wireless LAN

Turn on the camera and connect it to your smartphone.
**Please make sure there is a microSD card in the camera before turning it on.
*Wireless LAN will not be turned on during parking surveillance mode.

Step 3

Restart the application "d'Action 360 S"

a notification appears on the screen.

Step 4

Tap the "Firmware Update" button

Start updating automatically. Don't turn off the power while the update is in progress.

Notes:

・To update the firmware for your device, you can use either a smartphone application or a PC.
・If you are unable to update the firmware using a smartphone, then you should try updating it using a PC.
・If the memory LED is blinking orange and you are unable to update the firmware, you should turn off Bluetooth on your smartphone and try again.
・If you are still unable to update the firmware, then you should try updating it using a PC.
・Depending on the timing of communication, the message "Do you want to update?" may appear even after the update is complete. In this case, simply restart the application and the message will disappear.
・If an error or freeze occurs during the update process, you should disconnect the power cable from the main unit and wait for about 5 minutes before turning it on again. This should help resolve any issues and allow you to retry the update process.
