General Product Questions
A. Unfortunately, this model does not have any wireless LAN, LTE, or cloud features and can only watch the footage through the camera’s LCD screen or playback the recorded footage in the microSD card on the PC app.
A. No, all the controls are done using the 4 buttons from the front camera unit. You can watch the live view and recorded footage (for quick check) from the front camera LCD screen. However, we recommend our free PC app (Windows only) which comes with more viewing features, such as GPS location, speed, date and time stamp. For Mac users, you cannot use the PC app, but can still directly read an SDcard without a PC app to view the raw video files. NOTE: Ensure to backup the video data on your Mac device or other storage medium before inserting the microSD card back to the camera. Initialization of the microSD card may be required on the camera if the microSD card has been once connected.
A. A 32GB microSD card (DCP31) is included and our products are only compatible with d’Action brand microSD cards. Available in 32GB (DC3A), 64GB (DC4A) and 128GB (DC5A) as additional options.
A. Operate with the LCD screen of the camera.
Press top button twice > Setting menu > Press third button to go down to page 3/3 > Format microSD Card
*Formatting will erase files. It is recommended to back up the data to a personal computer in advance.

Questions about Parking Option (DC206A)
A. Yes, the DC206A Parking Option Hardwire kit is not included with the camera.
A. The Parking Option (DC206A) consists of the accessory, battery and ground wires, which you hardwire to the fuse box.
*Since installation requires specialized knowledge, please take it to your local auto shop.
A. No, the camera is in surveillance mode which starts recording events such as impact, motion and peeping. To activate motion detection mode, you must enable it from the settings.
The surveillance mode can be set up to a maximum of 48 hours.

A. No. It is not dustproof, rainproof, or waterproof.
A. CAPACITOR POWERED – d’Action 360 utilizes the latest capacitor technology vs lower cost lithium batteries to ensure that the recorded files are saved properly during shut down, failure or emergency.
A. It is not advisable to mount the camera directly on the dashboard in the upright position. Dash areas are prone to excessive heat which may cause the camera to deform and the upright position could also affect G sensor calibration.
A. The recommended mounting position is beside the rear view mirror and within the top 20% of the upper portion of the windshield.
Be careful to avoid a mounting position where the camera view is blocked by the mirror and also avoid any interference with factory equipment.

A. The camera is connected to a switched 12v of your vehicle (when car is on, the camera is on). If you wish to record while the car is off, we recommend purchasing the optional parking monitor. This allows for the camera to be connected to a constant power supply which will allow for the camera to stay on after the car is off.
A. The power is supplied through your vehicle’s cigarette lighter receptacle using the USB power socket in the set. Note: If the Parking Option (DC201A) is attached to the camera, the camera must be connected to the vehicle’s internal wiring instead of the cigarette lighter receptacle.
A. Yes, The frame rate is 27.5 fps. Note: The camera may operate at a lower frame rate in high temperatures.
A. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology corrects the brightness of video recorded in light or dark places, reducing overexposure by headlights, etc.
Note: WDR is set to ON by default to optimally record both the inside and outside of the car.
Set WDR to ON when you wish to reduce overexposure from headlights, etc., or adjust the brightness (exposure) setting to create a clearer image.
A. The camera can accept up to a 128GB card for increased recording time.
A. No. Footage is recorded in full HD equivalent (approx. 2.0 mega-pixels) in Impact Recording mode and Continuous Recording mode.

A. The normal operating temperature of the camera is 14 F – 104 F degrees [bracket range]. We do not recommend leaving the unit in an area that is exposed to extreme temperatures such as the dash. The camera has built-in circuitry to protect it if the temperature reaches critical levels.
A. The d’Action 360s uses the GPS sensor to record speed and location. All information is viewable on the smartphone/pc app.
A. Yes. The camera is capable of recording in day and night (low light situations).
A. Installation of the base camera is very simple and can be done yourself. Power for the camera is obtained from your vehicle’s 12v power port via the provided adapter. It should only take a few minutes to get the camera mounted and powered up. Once you have the app loaded on your phone, you can connect to the camera via the built-in wifi.
A. For Impact Recording, Parked Recording, and Continuous Recording, the most recently saved file overwrites the oldest file when their respective folder becomes full
A. The communication range is approximately 30 feet (10 meters) with a clear view.
Note that the range will be affected by the surrounding environment.

General Product Questions
A. An error has occurred on the memory card. Please follow the steps below.
1. Check to make sure you are using a compatible memory card. Reading and writing speeds may be slower on incompatible memory cards, resulting in an error.
2. Back up any recorded data and format the memory card. (Refer to page 33 in the instruction manual.)
3. Update the firmware to the most up-to-date version.
4. If the issue persists even after following these procedures, the memory card may have reached the end of its life-cycle. Please replace with a new, compatible memory card.
A. There is no monthly fee with the d’Action camera.
A. If you are using a microSD card other than the one included in the set, ensure the following:
1. The card has a storage capacity between 16GB and 128GB.
2. The card has the “U3” logo printed on it.

Please make sure that your memory card meets the requirements listed above. There are many different memory card specifications i.e. U3, Class 10 and/or V90. However, the d’Action 360 camera utilizes a U3 memory card.

A. No. It is not dustproof, rainproof, or waterproof.
